Thread: Whats out of date?

  1. #1

    Default Whats out of date?

When I look at most web pages on my lappy, I get a red box and no video's showing, I've updated everything I can think of but still get these problems, so does any one know what is out of date?
Don't walk in front of me..I may not follow-don't walk behind me..I may not lead-just walk beside me and be my friend.

Bread, crisp, cheese. Although cheese can taste better out of date

Try thinking the other way. Do a system restore back to a date when it was working fine.

Start >>> all programs >>> accessories >>> system tools >>> system restore. Follow the on screen instructions.
See if that fixes it. If not you can always undo the restore point.

If you can't play videos it is likely to be a codec problem, google free codecs and see if that helps.

If it's your computer time that is out of date, have you checked the system time? You may need to set it in the BIOS

How about you start by giving us the web address of a page you are having problems with and then tell us which bit or bits have this red box. Then we can get an idea of what it is you need to check.

As Damian said a URL to a problem page would help. Even more also a screenshot of what you are seeing when you view that page.

Oh! And also what browser you are using.
