I have recently opened my first ebid Jewellery shop.

Please take a look, any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.

I hope to add more items in the coming days.

One of the additional options show here for posting a thread is " attach files ",

i guess these are for photo's ?, where would the photo be posted to ?, and would it have a benefit ?

Welcome to the forums (and ebid, of course!)

I'll reply here for ease, but you might like to bear in mind that you're limited to one post a day in your "plug" thread, so it's not a great place to start a conversation... so difficult to have the last word if you have to wait until tomorrow.

The other forums have no limits, so if you choose one of those for asking question it's easier for everbody (but not for plugging, you're in the right place for that... it's all very confusing!)

Meanwhile...

You can add pictures as attachments if you need to illustrated a question (for example, what's this widget?) or just want to show something to your fellow ebidders. You can also put in pictures to illustrated your plug posts. On the whole though, if you can, using the picture icon to include pictures in the text is more effective than attachments. Take a look at the advanced forum editor and have a read here: http://www.bykimbo.com/ebid/help/index.htm for some help that I hope you will find useful. In particular you should have a read of the section on signatures, to put an advertisement for your stuff into the foot of all your posts.
