I had little success selling here at Ebid. What can I do to promote my store/ listings? How can I increase my sales? Can anyone direct me? Thanks for any help !

Try advertising on Craigslist with your store's address in there? Print little slips of paper with your info on it and a logo, and leave it behind when you go to the store?

Hi Stubball - that's the million dollar question, and unfortunately there's no simple answer or magic bullet - there's a million tips and tricks, each of which may or may not assist at different times and with different people targeted, but no single technique that will do everything for you.

There's hundreds, if not thousands of threads in the eBid forums offering advice on the same question, and every piece of advice is valid, and will work for different peoople at different times.

The main requirement is consistency - allocate even just ten minutes per day to search out and use another location to promote your store and link back to it from somewhere on the web. Set up a system of promotion for when you are packaging for despatch (countless tips about what you can do here in the forums) and use it with every package. Allocate a given amount of time daily to make yourself known here in the forums, and so on.

Marketing your wares for sale on eBid can become a full time job in itself - and all the harder since pimping was banned years ago - the more you put into it, the more sales you will get out of it.

    Hi Stuball9999
Firstly welcome to ebid, hope you enjoy your stay.
On your auctions I notice they are all on first bid or run till sold, they are never going to rise up the lists, you need to change some if not all to run for between 8-14 days with 10 auto relists wont cost you anything, this way they will rise up to the top and be in the closing auctions where people will actualy see them .
And I have also found that the more you have the more you will get noticed.
Spend some time on the forums and get yourself a signature so people can check you out easily it does help honest.
Other than that scour the forums some great advice around and dont be afraid to ask.
You can also plug your auctions once a day in the plug your auction forum.

is 100% positive and has all been earnt here on Ebid
