feedback reminder

I sold an item late on 21st April - to USA customer.

Item sent out 22nd April.

Feedback reminder received 23rd April - and there is no way the custom has received the item yet.

I have opted out of receiving feedback reminders as seller and buyer.

I have emailed the customer to ask if they sent it, or if it was by ebid.
Awaiting response.

If this was sent to me by ebid, doesnt it make any difference that I have opted out of these emails?

Magnets, the only optional thing is where you don't want eBid to send reminders for you, however if the seller / buyer wants eBid to send a reminder, they will still be sent regardless of your preferences.

And as eBid thought it better to opt everyone in rather than out, I think most will still be opted in. (I hope that makes sense)

Just went to my email account, and blocked any emails with ''eBid - Feedback Required'' in the subject box.

The wording has changed since they were introduced, this is the new wording that you have posted, so I would imagine if the reminders are working correctly, then the buyer must have manually send a feedback request.

What did the email say, did it say (buyerxxxxx) has send a feedback request or did it say / look like an eBid generated request?

Thats come from the buyer not eBid, so that eBid feedback reminder you have opted out will not stop the feedback reminders being sent (unless the email block works that you have set in your email direct)

Sending it out within two days of purchase.

What a wonderful way to make sure these inconsiderate people don't become repeat customers.
