    Default Feedback score yesterday

Five feedback left yesterday~ as a BUYER

    1 positive

    1 neutrel

    3 negs

Not a good reflection, is it~

And the seller who had the neutrel had the cheek to complain~ should of really been a neg

We need to do better, if we really do want buyers.

We? What do you suggest good sellers do that they aren't? How do you think "we" can improve the situation?

    Don't take it personnally~

But if I was new to this buying lark~ how does it look?

Would you recommend a site, if this had happened to you and you were new to it?

Sorry, but let's face it, we all get tarred by the same brush.

People will remember the bad before they ever remember the good .

Hence the lousey news we get in the papers~

    I didn't, I know I have 100% positive feedback.

But what do you want us to do about it? You said "we need to do better". How?

1/ Making sellers aware that selling is A BUSINESS and does have legal obligations.

2/ A clear list of what you can give a neutral and a negative for

3/ Letting sellers/buyers know that bad feedback has penalities (sp)

4/ Sellers who list and go away, in some cases for years, will have their items removed after a certain period.

( I know of one seller who listed 3 years ago, and has not been back since~ his items are still here)

5/ Non payers to be give three strikes and they are out

6/ Linking ID's, so everyone knows who everyone else is. Stops you buying from who you think is a different seller, but in fact is the same seller/buyer with another ID

7/ Stores with no items removed from the front page~ makes the site look desprite

Is that enough to be getting on with?

It's a very interesting and informative list. Now what on there can *we* do? And how are *you* setting about it?

Bet you're glad you started this.

I have checked the seller you left the negs for...your feedback was their only negative feedback.

I have bought from them and I was very impressed with their professional behaviour so I am wondering if there is something wrong at their end that has nothing to do with being a 'dead end seller'

Since I am concerned about them ...I have emailed and am waiting for a reply.

I start by contacting support, and the no contact seller gets a line thru their name. It has already happened, then the seller can't screw over somebody elce. Hence, improving the site, weeding out deadbeat sellers.

Your side stepping the issue with the we and you distraction.

    That's O.K. I understand why and don't blame you~

I will leave honest feedback to reflect the service and goods I receive from a seller.

I will pay for goods straight away.

I will ALWAYS treat my sales as a business, and do my best to keep a good reputation.

I will PROMOTE any site that does the same and also tell others of sites that do not

I will post within 2 working days of any order

I will check my listings several times daily and answer any e-mails asap

We can name and shame bad sellers or buyers

We can give warnings to non proforming sellers or non paying buyers

We can ban such buyers or sellers after 3 warnings

We can encourage good sellers and buyers, by not letting this site get a bad or ( worst) mediocre reputation

We can remove dead listings~ say after 60 days

We can remove empty shops~ starting to look like the High Street

We can e-mail sellers/buyers who have not logged in for 6 months, asking if they wished to keep their membership going ( also reminds them there IS a site here)

    Happy now Sir~

A fair statement~ and if you are new? Would you know how or would you even bother?

There ARE so many other places to buy~ which is what I did today.
