    Default Use category numbers

When listing via the "sell" form, I'd like to be able to short-cut the initial process of choosing category and then sub-category. Mainly because the long drop-down list for sub-cats is a bore!

I can picture doing this either by putting the sub-cat number into a box at the very start, or by having a list of "recently used" cat/sub-cats available on the first page of the form. A lot of us tend to sell the same sort of things, so I think this could be useful for lots of people.

It's a good suggestion, though if you sell items in very few categories, wouldn''t it just be simpler to bring up a list of your current auctions and click the "list similar" link next to one in the category where you already have that listing? Then you're on the seller form and the same category is already chosen. Did this make any sense? I do it all the time.

I do that a fair bit, and no I don't think it's simpler than just typing the code into the form.

    I'd forget the codes! LOL

I do make a lot of use of 'list similar' though.

    Absolutely correct.
