HI , you must send to the address supplied...if you choose not to...you leave yourself open to all sorts of problems.....I would ask the buyer what is going on before I posted any item.....check ebid and Paypal or any payment service ....see what they say..............the general rule is.....the confirmed address.....and I would not refund if it was or is the buyers fault .............papa.

I would say in the above case and my case... this is an error from the buyer, correct?

    Hi Croc

My view is it's the buyer's mistake, but then as sellers should we always check the shipping address with the buyer's? (What a pain that would be)

If they buyer left unwearranted neg feedback , speak with ebid support.

    How's it going Hanna

Their last message to me, said that they have not lived there for a year and that they were going to see if they still had either the game or cheque (cheques no good as I cancelled it)

Just have to see what happens next

    Hi Meebo
Their last message said that's what they were going to do, so it's a matter to wait and see. If it's not there Iwonder if they will still expect a refund) I would never refund to avoid a neg only if I beleived I was in the wrong. (maybe a part refund as a goodwill gesture)?

If the buyer cant get there address right why as a seller should you we lose out,if they cant get there address right its tough on them.

If there is a difference between the paypoo and ebid addy I would check with buyer before sending

The best thing is always to check the customer address on the eBid system against the address on the payment provider system and ask the customer for address confirmation if they are not the same. It is best not to send out until the address is confirmed. I find it a regular occurrence that customers move address and forget to update all their address records in various locations.

    Smile wrong address

Package may be on way back to seller, one problem solved. This may take time (and since buyer made mistake) so I would wait before I made any decision on a refund.
