Same here...
I don't bother too much about feedback, although I do send a reminder after a while as I like to know the buyer has received the item and is happy. Then I assume that everything is Ok or they would respond, and leave it at that.
Mind you, sometimes you could do without the feedback...
only ever had 2 neutrals.
1. because the item took some time getting there, DURING the postal strike...
2. and the latest...bought and paid on a weekend, item went to post office on Monday...post office was taking in parcels but no collections. Thursday an abrupt email saying ' item not here, where is it?' My polite reply was 'its in the mail, let me know when it arrives' Nothing more until a neutral a few days later because delivery was slow. Perhaps they missed that the whole country was in the grip of snow storms.
Don't you just love it????
Trouble with requesting feedback.
They might not say what you would like to hear

Well, thanks for all your replies.
Makes sense what you're saying about one-off buyers who've come in via Google.
I'll keep on asking for feedback, but if they don't do it, I'll leave it.
True enough also, that some people might leave you neutral or negative feedback for something out of your control.
When I was still listing on Greedbay, I had a whole write-up underneath my listings regarding things out of my control etc.
Must admit that I never chase feedback. Not even one time.
Reversing the situation I would find it annoying to be chased for it so assume others would possibly feel likewise. So I don't risk it.
