Hello, everybody! We left GreedBay six months ago . . . and I'm sooooo glad we did, it sounds as though things are just getting worse over there. You'll like it here.

And come to the forums for help if you get stuck . . . right away. Don't waste hours before asking (as I did a few times).

    Hi Candlebridge,

You are very very welcome here. I hope you find it a lovely home

I agree with TiasTreasures, the forums are brilliant and very very friendly - don't be afraid to ask if you get stuck.

Things are definately getting worse at greedbay.More and more rule changes, most of them with little real benefit.
I spend more and more time on here and I'm happy with the staedy increase in sales. The greedbay cheerleaders are still jumping on anyone who dares to mention ebid on their forums but there's no denying there is a shift towards this site.
    Keep it up,chaps and chapesses!

    Talking Fleabay !!!

Hi. I'm totally new here. I was with Fleabay for over 4 years and had great feedback....100% on 1745. Lately they removed 2 of my listings because....I jest not....I used "as new" in the description. The cheeky greedy sods suspended my account for a week because I re-listed the items one of which was a used once snow board! used once, no marks... ergo AS NEW. Anyway, I'm going to give eBid a whirl and see what happens. Have any readers had negative experiences on here? Or is it ALL good. Also, why here and NOT Fleabay? Love to read your tales!

    First, welcome to ebid.

The only negative experience I've had here is one non-paying bidder. The positive experiences are: lower fees, buyers actually friendly, support actually answers your posts to them [not canned responses], friendly forums, informative forums for newbies, and sales. Also I love the fact that ebid doesn't dictate the form of payments that I can accept.

Read the forums on how to add a signature to your forum posts so we nosy buyers can check out your items.

Good luck to you and I hope you have many sales.

    Thank You Bookshed!!

I did feel a little "ambushed" from time to time whenever I had a question to ask on Greedybay! It is a lot better on Ebid though. Only hope that word spreads fast!! Best wishes to you for a good day!!
