Default How would you approach this one?

First of all I am fully aware that there are plenty of people who buy on auction sites for the sole purpose of selling on, I have no problem with that, if they can make a profit on the deal, good luck to them.

This one is a little different, I had a buyer pay me for two postcards they had purchased from me, these two cards are still sitting on my desk, ready to be packed and posted in the morning.

One of the cards is of one of the villages I collect, I acquired an extra copy of one I already had in the collection, so I sold it here.

I am still listing on feebay, and have the searches set to send an email when anything new is listed for the villages I collect.
This morning I opened one of the emails and there was a newly listed card identical to the one I have just sold. I decided to take a look and see what the price is, I then noticed that the seller is located in the same town as my buyer {bit of a co-incidence, I thought} the description was not as detailed as mine, but I came to the conclusion that this seller might be my buyer.

So, I checked the recent eBid feedback and compared items that my buyer had recently purchased with the items for sale on the other ID on feebay, I found that eight items listed are the same cards as my buyer has recently purchased on eBid, so i have concluded that it is the same person.

I then realised that I still have the card here, so to get the picture on to his feebay listing, he must have copied it from my listing.

I am rather tempted to place a bid on the card myself {I use the same ID over there} just to let him know i have spotted it.
I might also use my other feebay ID to ask him a question about the card to see what reaction I get.

    Sarah,

The part that has a question element to it is this

Obvious now it's pointed out to me (I told you I was half asleep)

Me personally would not be bothered if some one copied my pictures, but thats my laid back attitude. I don't know if there is a way to get rid of the eBid icon if it has one, but i would not worry about it too much if you are happy with the sale price etc, as if you did kick up a little fuss would this then lose you a customer?
It's a catch 22 situation, when my brains woke up a bit more I'll pop back

Personally, I am not too concerned about the picture copying, but the fact he has not yet got the card in his hand {still sitting on my desk} and already got it for sale is a bit cheeky.
And, it might get lost in the post, then he would have a problem.

I would'nt worry about him having a problem, it's not your problem is it? I don't mind people buying from me to resell, and as long as they ask, they can copy picture and description. I have in the past bought to resell but have always asked the seller first before bidding, also a couple of times have asked if I may use their picture, I always use my own descriptions and templates, it is a bit cheeky reselling an item before even seeing it, but I would be happy with the sale

Simple answer is to change your image then if he's linking to it he'll get egg on his face
