WHATS MORE SICKENING IS, THEY WILL BE UNDER TEN YEARS OLD
And no one can do anything about them,
The police are as good as useless, if my daughters encounter with them is anything to go by,

Her house was done over an a lot of valuables stolen,
Enter was through ,braking the kitchen window. In doing so,
One cut him / her self, blood all over the place,

Soco arrived and never bothered to dust for prints, or take a blood sample,

WHY I hear you ask, we think we know who they are,
All under ten, cant do anything with them, just wasting our time,

AND I PAID MY COUNCIL TAX FOR WHAT EXACTLY,

Am I interpreting this correctly? Are you trying to say that anyone under 10 can not be charged / prosecuted / told off by police if the do an illegal act?

We have a group of teens around here that reckon they rule the roost.

I was stopped in an alleyway about 200 yards from my house a few months back coming back from the Chinese takeaway.
Two youths stopped me and asked for a cigarette. I roll my own, so certainly wasnt gonna get my tobacco out. They werent very happy with this, and one of them grabbed me by the jacket - not a good move. The other one managed to run away. The one that grabbed me couldnt.

Then a couple of months back about 10.30 pm, there were several very loud bangs on my window behind me. I dont close the the curtains all the way as my parrot runs up and down the window ledge. They had decided it would be fun to upset him.
However, they obviously didnt know that I keep a baseball bat behind my front door. I grabbed it and went outside - maybe it is just as well for them that I cant run fast any more.
I guess the sight of a 6ft 3'', 220 pound, hairy Scotsman, yelling in a dialect they couldnt understand, weilding a baseball bat, was a bit too much for them.

It was the same 2 youths on both occasions.

Havent had any probs since (fingers crossed)

It's not the police who are at fault, it's our outdated laws and the bleeding hearts who think it's more important that the thugs and criminals are protected rather than society in general.

When I lived on the estate there were times where the police could do nothing and I took the laws into my own hands. Was I wrong to do that?, yes in the eyes of the law I was, but not as far as I was concerned, I did what I had to do to protect my family and property.

It's sad when things get to that situation.

Thanks everyone, I'm just more annoyed than anything.

Last night I was really shook up as no exaggeration it was a close call. I had planned to read my emails and then I was going to sit down and watch CSI Lucky it didn't happen 5 mins later otherwise I would have been sat directly under the window rather than at the side of it

I don't think this is down to 10 yr olds, more likely the junkies that go up and down the street to visit the flats up the top of the road. As our house is on a slope we are raised, so the window is at least 6 foot off ground level it would have to be someone fairly tall to get the angle right. It's not as if they did it to gain access, just mindless vandalism.

No sign of Forensics yet, I know they have better things to do than attend a smashed window but this could have had really serious consequences. I am just glad the kids were in bed when it happened. Jon was out working, I was the only one here at the time.

Why should regular service personnel have to put up with this dross?

Work experience was bad enough and they wanted to be there.

What we need is an island somewhere and start transportation again. Let all those who want to live in a cesspit of a world live together.
