never heard of a Tootsie toy. Is it a US firm? Maybe the boys hadn't heard of it either and that's why it's missing
They are very popular toys that were made in Chicago since I believe the 40's. I have several from the 50's though the 70's. They are mostly die cast trucks and cars.
I have restored several and they come out beautiul. I am especially fond of the old car carriers.

Gazza, Went to change the category on the Tootsietoys I already have listed and was unable to locate the subcategory you added.
I'll assume it takes a bit to show up, but in case there is a problem, I figured I'd let you know.
