Default I want to be nationalised .......

Strange that a bank that runs into so much trouble it has to be bailed out by the taxpayer, now hands out generous bonuses to staff.......

That is one of the reasons why the banks are not lending.
That's your money and my money being paid out to people that are only doing a job and who are already well paid.

So how much will they be giving to the postal workers, cos they have made a profit.

    What a load of c***.

I can understand the rank and file coalface workers getting a bonus, but it shouldn't be the top decision makers that decided the poor lending policies, they created the problem now they should experience a little pain for their folly, just basic salaries in my opinion, and they are probably too much!

Why is it understandable ken ? Did the staff pay back the money owed ? They've still got their jobs and as far as I'm concerned (having just been made redundant) that's BONUS enough .....

I agree with you on your point about the decision makers though..... wholeheartedly !

    I don't get it.
I know I'm as thick as the proverbial planks but what effect does it have on me and mine if the banks go belly up?
How does one bank having the confidence (as they put it) to lend money to another bank make my life any better?
Does the baker still have cream cakes to sell?
Is there petrol at the forecourt?
    What's the problem?
