I'm glad I ask the question so we could all have a good laugh, there aren't enough of those around lately!

Not enough questions?![]()
I could probably come up with some more questions but don't want to get a reputation for being ignorant!LOL
I have learned that it is much better to ask questions before you say or do anything that shows your ingnorance. So ask away - I always do

In general I've found men pretty much lazy and useless (except for one thing), by the time they've got around to whatever it was they're supposed to be doing, I've already given up and done it myself.

Yeah, I'll bite. Sorry Ken, I do not find that comment funny.
I'm sorry that you are experiencing man problems Salus, but there was a smiley with it!
It was intended for general amusement, if you don't find it funny then just ignore it, the same way as I ignore some things on here.

While Ken's comment may have been a touch non-PC it was, I am sure, made in a jocular fashion.
Your comment though seriously lumps all men as the same as the men of your experience. That likely says more about your choice in men than men in general.
I'm single and have never had any interest in getting married or even sharing a house. The number of married women that have told me I would make someone an ideal husband I have lost count of.
I think it is probably true that the kind of man that would make a good partner is usually not the kind of man that women really want. What initially attracts them to a man is what they come to hate later.
