As far as I am concerned Easter eggs are a complete waste of money whenever they are for sale. Just a load of commercial nonsense.

I haven't gotten over Christmas yet and we still have Valentines to get through, so yes, it's too early to think of Easter.

Valentines day is our eldests birthday, so we don't 'celebrate' valantines day we just celebrate Jodies birthday. I also think valantines day is another way to get money out of people and serves no real purpose.

    Much too early!

Does any time of year remain when the merchants leave us in peace? I remember when Christmas wasn't even an issue until late November. Now it's before Halloween!

Oh, I love Valentine's Day but only because from the time my kids were toddlers I spread out the craft supplies and we made beautiful Valentines for everybody we cared about. That's what it means to us. For them I print, cut and glue little chocolate boxes, then fill with a few fancy chocolates. When they wake there is a mylar heart balloon (of some description) tied to the box of chocolates, something small in a heart theme like socks, a coordinating beanie baby sitting on top with the handmade card standing beside. It's not just for love birds.
