no, nothing that drastic, one with your haircut would help, change what your wearing, maybe take glasses off, slightly different facial expression, change lighting, maybe change your hair color, bit of makeup, and then it could be a much better picture

no, not really, just showing the nice bits (no not that) a well taken photo can make a tin of paint or a brick wall look interesting (not saying you compare to a tin of paint or a brick wall tough)
