Thread: I've taken the plunge! - Upgrade to Seller+ Lifetime

  1. #11

Default Hello to all from another newbie...on eBid

I am excited about the opportunity to expand my global presence with eBid. I have been an eBay Powerseller for about ten years now however I believe the politics are well known.

If I am understanding the subscription for the Lifetime membership; it is a one time fee of $49.99 and no more fees (final value fees, seller+ fees, etc.) EVER? Or, am I billed $49.99 monthly?

Just seeking clarification as I could not find the answer searching the fact pages. If lifetime is the way to go I'll absolutely go that route just need a bit of guidance from my "new peers."

    Happy Holidays to All!

    Tamara

    Welcome to eBid, tamara.

The $49.99 buys you a lifetime of listing on here with 5 free stores to put it all in. There are no other fees if you don't use any of the extras. There is a 2% fvf if you use gallery which I think is a bargain. Featured, bold and other extras are charged each time a listing is relisted.

You will benefit from reading more on these forums. There are lots of friendly people on here that will give good advise on listing durations and other topics. Feel free to ask questions when you don't understand anything.

    Thanks youmeus (Linda I believe),

I'm not a quitter and am willing to give it a good effort. I am fairly savvy about hooking my sites up to Linked-in, Google and Facebook for further exposure; thus have had a lot of new buyers this year.
I like what I've read thus far just wish we could upload eBay listings to this site as I have almost 500 items there, and almost 900 on iOffer.com which is similar to this site.
It will be well worth the expenditure and I do have clients in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Asia and Europe. I have been avoiding Africa due to scammers.
I look forward to making new friends on this site and I trust I will be value with me as I founded 4 eGroups on eBay and perhaps there is something such as that on here. Great way to meet others with similar selling, buying and collecting passion.
Thanks so much for your input.
    Sincerely, Tamara

    Linda is correct.

I'm not sure what you mean by eGroups but there is a USA Experience group. You can find it under the sign in box on this page >Networking>Social groups>USA Experience. Several from the states are there. We exchange comments about the weather, family and other important things there and help anyone who asks.

The forums are a good place to improve our understanding of others the world around.

Welcome Tamara! Don't blame you for your feelings about Fleabay. I agree with them, but still list some auctions there.... and publicise Ebid to all my customers. I closed my Fleabay store after the fee increases in September and moved it here to Ebid - don't regret it at all.

Welcome and best of luck here.
