Default You can all stop worrying........I finally did it!!

Remember my post what seems like weeks ago about me making icing my Christmas cake a MUST do to get myself out of a downer?

Well I managed to do it today!!

Made the icing and threw it on...it wouldn't win any prizes in the local cake icing competiton but I have done it!

I also made 5 jars of pickled cabbage, cleaned out the spare chest freezer ready to pass over to sis in law next door. Went shopping and put up a few meager decorations.,.....despite me vowing I was not doing Xmas this year And finally got round to putting tags on the pressies I have bought... I hope I remembered which was who's

If anyone else has a cake to show off lets have a look here

    Aw Thanks and Nuttie too....
But honestly it's not clever... just make the icing and literally throw it on then spread it about a bit...leave it rough to look like snow...( And because it's hard to get it all smooth and even) then stick on a few ornaments.
The cake has loads of brandy in it..and so do I.! So the combination sort of causes a final result that is unforseen and toatlly unique
