Many thanks to you all for your best wishes.
I haven't replied until now because as you can see I was in a bit of a predicament.

The police only held me overnight and, as no one else was involved they only gave me a caution for being drunk in charge of me mobility chariot.

It all started outside Morrisons when the Security man found I had wandered out with a few bits and bottles that I had forgotten to pay for.... I explained it was a senior moment.

I had to sit for a while to recover from this after I had returned inside to pay for the Jack Daniels, Vodka, Brandy for me Xmas cake and My Xmas Egg Nog.
It was cold so to steady me nerves I took a swig or two of the brandy ( For me bad heart) and some Voddie to warm me up so I didn't get Hypothermia.

On my way home I saw what I thought to be a Christmas elf, all dressed in green so not wishing to mow him down and leave all those kiddies wivout pressies, I swerved to avoid him. The gas Board had erected a barrier to that side and as my Chariot knows it's way home and drives by the force as well as me having pumped in all the Satnav details in case I should have one of my turns on the way home, It couldn't compensate for the newly erected barrier....


Just waiting for the AA to come and cart me off.......
