  1. #1

Smile what to do re holidays ???

    Hi
I am new to ebid and was wondering what i should do if i go away on holiday. Should i cancel my listings ie delete them or is it better to post a notice on my listings saying something like Will ship your gooods on my return ....Assuming that is if i ever sell something.
My thanks for any help you may be able to give
    regards sword42

The holiday setting allows you to add a notice to all your listings explaining your absence and your expected absentee dates.
It will leave all your auctions as viewable, but people will not be able to bid or buy until your remove the setting.
Hope this explains things for you.

It might not be much help to you but the last time I put a notice on my listings saying I was going away....some one did a buy it now...the night before I was leaving....posted it on the way to airport...this was before the new way was in...but I still think that a lot of people do not read the notices ???.
    have a nice holiday.........papa.
