What's everyone up to this weekend?

I'm not doing much at all!!

if the forecast is anything to go by- i'm staying in to hide- they seem to think we're gonna have some snow here

My hubby will be taking our two teenage daughters over to our church tomorrow morning.

It is the annual clear up of the gutters and downpipes
Getting rid of all the fallen leaves and generally tidying up before winter sets in.

He has taken both the girls since they were 3 & 4 and they really enjoy helping and of course now they can do some of the heavier (and grubbier) work.

They are always rewarded with a lovely lunch of soup and baked potatoes.

I don't go as the first year he took them was the first time he had taken the girls out without me in tow, so now it is my annual morning lie in!! Although I do tend to get up and help load the car with buckets and brushes and spades etc.

Sounds like it is going to be cold and rather fresh

I was looking at my garage guttering while I was having my lunch and thinking I ought to clear the leaves out

I'd send my girls around to give you a hand, but we are a little too far away

Acording to the weather forecast my little one will be seeing her first proper snow, so she will be throwing snowballs at mummy while daddy watches from the nice warm conservatory with anice warm cuppa or two

Right now I'm biding my time, waiting to go supervise my moms shower around lunch. She fell out of her shower chair a couple of days ago and cut her head on the heat register, plus bruised her up pretty thoroughly. Fortunately she is okay and this seems to have put an end to the bath aide showing up at random times to elude supervision; the nursing service have called twice to let me know when the girl will arrive.

We leave this afternoon for a craft show, set up is tonight, show all day tomorrow, then home tomorrow night. Sunday given over to caring for mom and updating our website from our sales at the show, will probably have to make some more jewelry and candles too.
