That list creates a situation where any individual cover could go into several categories which seems to me to be a bad idea.

Greetings Gazza
Thank you for updating the GB Covers section so promptly. For the GB Stamp Collector/ seller these categories are very clear, specific and what they would expect to find.
As mentioned yesterday I have attached an initial attempt to categorise Thematic Stamps(not GB Specific).
The list of themes could clearly be clearly be unending however some main headings could be.
Thematics> Animals
Thematics> Animation/Cartoons
Thematics> Archaeology
Thematics> Art
Thematics> Discovery/Invention
Thematics> Europa
Thematics> Festivals
Thematics> Flags
Thematics> Flora
Thematics> Literature
Thematics> Medicine
Thematics> Military
Thematics> Music
Thematics> Other
Thematics> Red Cross
Thematics> Royalty
Thematics> Scouting
Thematics> Seasonal
Thematics> Space
Thematics> Stamps on Stamps
Thematics> Sport
Thematics> Transport
As you can see these are some of the main categories within Thematics. I have not attempted to break them down in to subcategories otherwise the list would be never ending. For example should BIRDS - which is a very popular thematic collecting area be a separate category or listed as a subcategory under ANIMALS? I personally do this breakdown within my own store tailoring it to my current sale items.
I am sure Gazza would welcome many other opinions.
Good luck with selling
wellset
