What are they?

Wow- Webkinz are VERY BIG here in the states. Check out my auctions at http://us.ebid.net/stores/This-That-and-More for a pic of some of the charms (Having a few problems uploading images or putting new auctions up today, but as soon as this is fixed I will be listing many more.

They are an online virtual pet. You buy a stuffed animal that has a code which gives you access to the "Webkinz World" where you can feed your pet, play games, buy stuff for your pet, furnish their living area (Flat or Home). It's kind of like neopets but with A LOT more things to do. Has a lot of educational value as well and is safe and secure for children to interact with other children with pre-decided phrases so you don't have to worry about any perverts. Their are TONS of accessories that you can purchase for your "real" stuffed animal pet which also has codes that you enter into the site so your "virtual" pet can also wear the outfits. They are made by Ganz. Might also be helpful to place it under a category for Children.

Such as:

Children: Toys & Hobbies: Electronic Pets (or virtual Pets): and so on

Neopets and the other current electronic Pets would also be better placed like this, I believe. It was hard finding a relevant category when I was listing my Webkinz items since we usually want to look under Children and then Toys, etc.

Just a thought. Any suggestions are welcome.

Sorry- After just looking at how others have categorized their webkinz, they are also not in the correct location.

I truely think having a category for VIRTUAL PETS (or Toys) would be very helpful.

Just like following my above category track:

use VIRTUAL Pet or Toy INSTEAD of Electronic Toy nad then follow the rest of my above track.

Children: Toys: Virtual: Webkinz
or- Children: Toys: Plush (or Stuffed Animal): Virtual (or Webkinz, so on, could go here instead): Webkinz (and then the same for the others below, etc.)

Children: Toys: Virtual: Webkinz: Charms (or accessories)
Children: Toys: Virtual: Lil' Kinz
Children: Toys: Virtual: NeoPets

as so on.
