Just got back from posting weekends sales, the weather is absolutely diabolical, rain and gales here on the south coast, got totally drenched as brolly turned inside out within 5 mins of leaving the house. Anyone sell umbrellas ?. Must get a couple of brandys inside me now,

its the same here and i have to go out in half hour and the poor postman has the post wrapped in plastic so its taking twice as long to do the round

Have had to abandon my trip to the post office today - my packages will just have to go tomorrow.

I cycle a 6 mile round trip and the weather is just too awful to venture out. Although it is starting to settle down a bit now, but I have decided to post tomorrow now - fortunately only a couple of items to go, but would have prefered them to go today.

It was one of the main reasons I moved here! To find an English village that still has old-fashioned facilities is a minor miracle. Thought I'd better move here and enjoy it while it was still possible.
