Thread: Ask Seller a Question-Is the Answer Saved?

Question Ask Seller a Question-Is the Answer Saved?

I have replied to several questions asked by potential buyers and cannot find records of these answered questions in "My eBid". When I click the tab "Q&A" there is nothing. I need to initiate contact again. How do I view my past answers?

Ive noticed this as well, the only way ive found of seeing "IF", any reply is by going on the actual auction and seeing if they have replied to any question asked on there.

A internal messaging system, would be so much easier

I need to add... I know the answer is saved on the listing itself, but with 600+ listings running, I don't know which listing it is on. I tried searching my listings, that didn't work. Any suggestion? Thanks

I don't know of anywhere else it's kept on ebid, but you have the option of receiving email notices and can file those as you wish. I try never to rely on 3rd parties holding information and keep my own copies of everything - it makes for a large and complicated email folder system but at least it's all there.

All questions and answers show on each item description that the question was asked for.

The questions shows in the Q&A part of your my ebid, and when it is answered it disappears from there as it isn't outstanding, but the andwer shows in your prospective buyers my ebid for their future reference.

    I hope this helps .

Thank you for your replies! Unfortunately... I did not save these Q&A emails. I will from now on...

Sorry, I forgot about the email notifications. When they are no longer appropriate, I normally keep mine in my deleted items folder rather than creating too many folders to save things. The deleted folder my miscellany, keep in case its required folder rather than deleted. Any thing that should be deleted, is deleted altogether off the system.
