Thread: May have been asked elsewhere !!!

  1. #1

Question May have been asked elsewhere !!!

Can anyone out there please tell me why when looking at my ebid store http://uk.ebid.net/stores/booksnting...n-Books--Music the items that I have bids on show a zero qty. available. Yet in my auctions I am running they show correct qty.

I only ask this as a friend of mine who was scanning google for any old items relating to my old Record Store spotted a link to my current ebid store & queried this very thing with me.

This could meen that anyone new to ebid looking at my shop as apposed to auctions listed may think that the items showing zero qty. have already gone and not click in to bid.

Hope this is clear and makes some kind of sense to someone.

    Cheers Mel

Looks like a bug to me - I'd report it to support if it happened to me. Of course, as I don't have any bids it's not a big problem. <sigh>

I just had a look and couldn't see a problem: all the ones I checked had quantity 1

If you scroll down far enough you can see at least one with zero (or at least, I saw this!) and when I clicked into the listing I could see it had a bid.

This has been the case for quite some time - once you get a bid, the quantity goes to zero, but just in the quantity column. They still show up in listings by category and in your store listings quantity. It's actually one way to see which items have bids.

Well I never knew that. A handy tip... though I still think it's entirely wrong!

No worries, thanks for the replies. Things are so much more friendly over here.

And hey I have just sold another item since I last logged on.

    Cheers Mel
