Anyone else had a survey from eb#y

I sent them an e-mail complaining about sellers not being able to give bad buyers negative feedback. The sent an automated response which basically said "Tough"!!!

Next day I got a survey, duly filled it in and vented my spleen there too.

On this one was a question that asked if I would like to talk to someone live. I said yes. Someone will contact you in 24 hours (could have been 48 but can't remember which). Suffice to say I'm still waiting.......

The last one I got from them was asking about their charity set up thingumybob.

I havent been sent one with any mention of eBid

I think it took me about 2 mins if that. I didn't feel I could honestly say I was using ebid as my *main* selling place, as I have much more stock listed elsewhere... but I certainly wasn't going to say it was feebay, so I chose another site and took great delight in telling them how much better it was.

I'm not in the "feebay are the spawn of satan" camp, but I'd be happy to see them rethink a lot of their recent anti-small-seller policies. I think there is plenty of room in the market place for there *and* here, and would be happy to see them both running well, to the benefit of we sellers, thangkewverymuch!

I've still got my shop on there (only recently opened it so want to give it a fair go there too) but I'm now selling on here too.

So far, I like it here even though there isn't the same amount of traffic at the moment although that I'm sure will change in the near future. Have to say traffic is down on the other side this week too. I always feel that mid-month, 3rd week of month tends to be poor as people are waiting for their salaries at the end of the month. Anyone find that on here too?

Real shops have outlets in various streets, towns and cities. Being on two (or more) cyber outlets is just the same.

Anyway, I enjoy selling (or trying to). Gives me a kick when I get a bid, has me bouncing off the walls when I get a few bids on an item

Yay! eBid has their attention! We got a survey about a month ago, and eBid wasn't even mentioned in their list of "What other sites do you sell on". This is actually great news, we're rattling their cage!

It was fun filling it out, wasn't it? I took the opportunity to vent, it was so much fun!

I have had about 4 emails asking me to do a survey, but I havn't done so. The timescale seemed too long, 10 mins, or was it 20mins?

Maybe I should do it next time, if they send me another - sounds interesting.

Photopheline about 5 pages 2 to 4 questions a page, just click just click in the box or boxes that you feel apply. The longest bit was the last box where, you write what you feel about ebay etc.

Just had to mention small businesses being driven out making less unique items available.

Agree, the thing is will anyone actually read replies and even if they do will they act on it?

I have just spent a very pleasureable ten minutes completing the survey, I dont suppose they wiil take any notice. However it was a pleasure to compare the two sites and put a tick in the right boxes for the lads. I especially liked the last box 'how likely is it that you will be selling on there in 12 months'. They must be getting really worried to be asking for the level of information they are asking about here.

I liked the bit where you got to tell them exactly what you felt, but agree, when comparing the two sites and really thinking about them our much better ebid really is.

Now if all there dvd sellers come over here, I'll be spending 100% of my time on ebid.
