Oh yummy - my mum used to make lovely steak + kidney suet puddings. I loved all the old fashioned puddings that my mum used to make every Sunday. I don't get to eat them very much now OH is head cook and bottle washer

It's called a clootie dumpling because it's wrapped in a cloot (cloth) to keep it together while it's steaming.

What I want to know is, did you wrap it in the traditional type of cloot?

Glad the elephant oil burner is safe. Now I just need to find a reliable supplier of elephant oil.

You do realise, though, I'm going to wait until you're crowing about hitting 500 before I sneak in and whisk it away.
