    Smile CANADA and MEXICO COINS

How about a sub-catagory in Canada for 10 cents and also bullion related coins .
Under Mexico a 100 pesos sub-catagory would be nice .
Also a bullion related sub-catagory in Mexico .
Many Thanks for your consideration !!!!!
    eBid is very nice .
OK coin sellers/collectors...you suggest a catagory or at least back me up !
These guys are great and will actually read suggestions and do something .

Hi Ray, I agree with you even though I don't deal in Canada or Mexico coins. I have asked many times for a sub-category for Sovereigns in UK coins but no response. Even a sub-c for gold in UK coins would be better than nothing. Other coin types do have a seperate sub-c within UK coins so I don't see what the problem is with my request.

eBid is a site with fantastic potential. Having said that, the whole Coin category sub-structure requires a complete overhaul. Do you agree Ray? I can only speak on UK (British) coins and here is my initial suggestion for primary categories:

    CATEGORIES FOR: UK(Britsh)COINS

    Hammered (Pre 1662)
    Early Milled (1662-1816)
    Milled (1816-1837)
    Victoria (1837-1901)
    Edward VII (1902-1910)
    George V (1910-1936)
    Edward VIII (1936)
    George VI (1936-1952)
    Elizabeth II (1953-1971)
    Decimal Coinage (1971 onwards)
    Proof Sets/Coins
    Commemorative Coins
    Collections/Lots
    Other UK Coins

Each coin type will require its own sub-category within the main categories shown above. Once the intial format is set up
(as above) eBid will attract hundreds of feebay sellers. The present reluctance of many coin sellers to transfer to eBid is due to lack of proper categorisation in which to sell.

I truly hope this can be resolved. I am willing to help in any way I can. Clive (goldsovereign)

    Smile Gazza......... please help!

    Hi Gazza
Would greatly appreciate your help with the UK coin categotories and, as you will read, other coin sellers are asking too for their coin varieties. Many thanks, Clive

I just listed a Canadian ten-cent coin. Had to put it under Canada/Other. I suspect this was just an oversight, but definitely needs to be fixed to attract serious sellers. Canadian coins are popular with collectors in the U.S. as well as in Canada.

We definitely need Coins & Banknotes/Coins/North & Central America/Canada/Ten Cents

It's a bit discouraging to see how many other people's requests have been added, while this one is still waiting.

Your best chance of getting the category structure which suits the coin and banknote collector is to suggest the whole breakdown you would want for the countries you know about (I'm trying to find a space to do this for stamps)
    Madelaine

4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
    My Postcard Shop
    BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
    & Yarnalong for craft patterns
    and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.

All other Canadian coins are listed. They omitted the ten-cent coin. We're trying to get it added to an existing subcategory.

    The request is for
    Coins & Banknotes/Coins/North & Central America/Canada/Ten Cents
