11.2MILLION in a Bank for a Charity!!

Erm 11.2 Million is a LOT of dosh for a charity to be kept in a bank (Icelantic one!!) Erm I know you raise a lot of dosh from the interest but 11.2Million........Why not use most of it and just keep say 2 Miilion in the bank>.......Makes you think about charities! Why do you need 11.2 Million in a bank?

5.7 million from a childrens hospice is at risk.

Questions are being asked why they invested so much in one institution.

Glad to say MY councils NOT on the list (Well the County Council IS but not my Local one!

Planned future capital projects are usually the reason for holding large amounts of money...........but to hold all a charities reserves in one place, absolutely beggars belief
