I think its everything about ebid that makes it different from everywhere else - although I've only ever dealt with feebay before, so I can't really compare it to everywhere.

It has a more relaxed atmosphere about it in general. The fact that any queries/problems put to admin are dealt with by humans and they are only a message away is great.

The forums is a very friendly village community - with lots going on, and everyone very welcoming - with the patience to help anyone with the minutist of difficulties, whether they are self inflicted or not. Even grumbling cave trolls - until they shoot themselves in the foot.

All in all, its a great place to be and I'm glad to be part of it.

I recently joined a newly discovered auction site (for me). Based in Belgium, much bigger then this site. It's potentially great for me, because I've got a lot of Belgium/France, Netherlands items to get rid off. However, the downsite is, that they don't allow you to post on the forum unless you are verified or have over 100 feedback. Therefore all those niggly little questions remain unanswered. Thanks again to the Ebid forum users who replied to my "silly" questions almost instantly when I first signed up.
