Thread: New user - Can I use Auctiva on this site

  1. #11

    Lightbulb Go for it

    Hi Florida33549

I'm glad they said no problem. I didn't ask

Just go for it. I can't see any problems.HTML is HTML?
You don't have to copy the code itself, Just select & copy the whole page - just left click / drag the mouse.over the page itself, right click and copy. It should work? I've just taken an old template and done this.as an experiment and it works ok?

If you really feel cheeky, go to your hopefully now dead previous eB*y listings as if you are going to relist, edit the listing and just lift the description page from there by copying and pasting Just don't take the Auctiva Store bit, Sellathon etc..

We still use auctiva for images. There are many ways of incorporating their image links into your decription.as you probably already know. You can supersize your own pics by using the link code in the image management lists. You can thumbnail them yourself if you know how and have the right software?

Obviously a lot of Auctiva functionality is linked to Eb*y, but as an image hoster and "work area" it's great. No bandwith or storage limits etc.. and it seems to be up most of the time now, which wasn't always the case

No integration into eBid but you could take the code and stick it into a spreadsheet as part of a bulk upload.Possibly something for later??

    Have fun. I do

Gill says I fiddle more than list - Probably right

i would imagine that yes, youd just copy the HTML code of description and pictures. I do the same with photobucket and i create my own html code for the description
