You've got a conflict in techniques there. Advanced WYSIWYG means you use the tree icon to insert pictures. Putting in img tags mean you should have the html editor. I describe one of these methods here: http://www.bykimbo.com/ebid/help/add...etoauction.htm see if that helps.

I think the problem here is the op is being told about the two different ways of adding free pictures IE the "html way" and the "WYSIWYG" Way and is getting confused between the two.
When using the "WYSIWYG" method the photobucket "direct link" code is needed.

Hope I haven't confused them even more
