Been here, tried it, but didn't get the T Shirt!!

Wouldn't it be nice and pro-active if when you join for life, Ebid sent an email saying 'Thanks for joining, you're entitled to a free T-shirt, what size would you like?'.
Then there wouldn't be a need for the posts, or the disappointment.
Just a thought.

Thanks for reading my post - i paid $49.99 for the upgraded lifetime membership that allows me to not pay any selling fee's except for any upgrades i might do like "bold" or "border" or "featured" . Well , i got a bill today for $162 ! I have only sold 1 item for $5 - i really don't think were gonna pay this bill !
Is this what everyone else is paying also ? We have 100 cd's listed , and were under the impression that after we "sold" the items , then we were "charged" this fee ! Tell me , i'm missing something ? Please email me direct - boscowbell @ a o l . C o m

How long do you run each of your auctions and what extra features did you choose? If you chose extra features, you will be charged each time on every repost.

Did you list your cds before you paid the lifetime membership or afterwards?

As Madelaine says, if you email support@ebid.net or support@ebid.tv and they should be able to break down your charges. I wonder if these charges were incurred *before* you took out lifetime membership though...

I did not get any kind of email or asking what size I need. I am new, from the other side, but hard not to be discouraged at this point. Have 16 listings and 1 bid and hardly any views. Why isn't ebid making a mad dash to advertise. Now would be the time to strike when the other side is making so many changes for the negative...........strike while the iron is hot!!

Hi everyone,

I actually emailed ebid support about the t-shirt on signing up to seller+ a few days ago. I was actually impressed at how quickly they responded ) and they even confirmed by reply the t-shirt size i requested and said that it would be in the post!! Wow, i'm certainly impressed at the support so far!!!!

I also sold 2 items, not here though - as i've not long set up store here hehe. One via greedbay (i saw this name via someone on this board, it did make me giggle) and another via another auction site. Thankfully on Greedbay i had managed to add the auction prior to the new fees, but it actually runs out later today - then that's it for me and them hehe and then its onto new horizon's - Ebid!!! )
