Hi, I will get out my recipe for the double layer pumpkin pie and share it with you all. Everyone that has tried it says it is wonderful. It is by far the best tasting pie to me.

This is a bit of "looking forward" but this sounds like a great auction for YDC60

Yes I know we are in the middle of YDC59, but whats wrong with a bit of advance planning?

4 oz. cream cheese
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 ½ cup cool whip
1 graham cracker pie crust

Mix top four ingredients and put into crust

Mix 1 cup cold milk
16oz. Mashed pumpkin (2 cups)(you can use store bought canned or cook down a fresh pumpkin)
2 packages vanilla instant pudding
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon cloves
Mix and pour over other ingredients

Garnish with extra cool whip
Refrigerate for a couple hours
