Eeek injection tommorow

Was going in for a lumber facet joint injection on the 23rd October, had a phone call earlier, and have got a cancellation so having it done tommorow , yipee no more back pain i hope , the 1st October is my 1 year annerversary of being off of work, so hopefully will be back at work in a couple of weeks , not that i do full time, only do part time anyway , cant wait, been going stir crazy not being able to do much of anything.

Those injections are what around here are called lumber punches, and I've heard tell they are quite painfull. Though if you get a lot of pain from your back, then you probably will find its a pin prick.

I've never been afraid of needles anyway, and now when I have any injections they just take alook at my rose & butterfly tattoo on my left upper arm and pass comments like 'can tell you're not afraid of needles' and just stab the needle in.

Good luck with it, I hope it does the trick. There is nothing worse that suffering with back pain.

Why are they injecting "Eeek" ?

Severe artritus of the spine and neck, been a nitmare,only thing thats kept me going is that there is always some poor bugger worse than one's self, so count me self lucky in a way it's not life threating, but very limiting to what iv'e been able to do for the last year.
And i always look on the bright side of life
