    Angry ebid is Over Charging my card :-($#@#&^

    What gives? back in may i tried ebid for one month only and didn't sell a thing; i paid the basic entry level fee only and Never left my paypal debit card number for them to take money automatically. i paid the $3.68 fee and now, months later i realize i've been hit for $38.94!!!! according to Paypal reps, my card has been Manually debited. outrageous! i just sent a request for support and now am going to have to Cancel my card and order another to keep it from happening again. if anyone here works for ebid, i'd appreciate you crediting my paypal account immediatly.

    Hi Bigfishsales:
    You should contact Ebid Support directly. They are good at working things out.

    P.S. They do automatically debit your card for revolving fees, unless you cancel. If you get lifetime membership they will credit back all fees towards membership. I know that may not be what you want to do, but sounds as if you did not cancel.

    I am not aware of a phone #, but they respond pretty promptly and effectively.

    i got the seller+ which should be 6.99 for one month, a one time fee; i saw nothing that indicated any further fees much less any auto debit. outrageous

    It tells you in the T & C's which you signed when you joined

    The right to sell items through our service is subject to the purchasing of a security subscription fee. This fee is to be paid on a recurring basis with payment for the coming period to be paid within 24hrs of the end of a previous subscription period. Users can email support@ebid.net during a subscription period to cancel this billing at any time.
    Mind you as you've already paid out $38.94 you can upgrade to Seller+ Lifetime for $11.05

    This is a public forum so no one here is going to credit your credit card or paypal account. Subscriptions by definition are recurring, and only the person who sets up a subscription can cancel it ( which in this case is you) You are told this when you first set up the subscription.

    To downgrade from the seller subscription you set up, go to your 'my subscriptions' area and downgrade to buyer level.
