Try adding a signature link to your store or listings (see other posting in this thread), and we will!
Right now, we don't know where to go...

    Right. I'm getting there.
61 Auctions up and running, and I've already earned 2.000 buddy points for getting two of my old customers to sign up. (So far)
Thanks to kengillam for that tip!

I've noticed that eBid prices for some of my items are lower than those on eBay, so I've reduced prices accordingly.
I have a tiered pricing structure, the lowest one now being "cheapies", where I do NOT accept PayPal.

I'm trying to encourage the use of PPPAy and Google checkout anyway. I don't see why I should pay PayPal (Ebay) anything.

Hi Folks! I'm a new store owner who is hoping to move beyond my eBay store and other websites. Really getting tired of eBay taking over our businesses and dictating unwanted changes and rules.

Hoping this site will allow soom freshness and more profitability! Good luck to each of you. HMR

    Hiya,
Well done for getting your auctions started, and also for your advance on your buddy points. Dont forget there are auctions here that you can use your buddy points as "spends"

Re your comment about prices being cheaper here than the other side, obviously you are entitled to charge what you want, but you will find that sellers here reduce their listings as the fees are not as high as they were on the other side!

If you look around the forums you will find varied comments regarding the payments available, and comments are being passed in some of the latest ones regarding the costs to the buyer with PPPay - I would advise that you search for these posts and read them and make your own decisions. The problem with disregarding PayPal, and again obviously its your choice, is that many buyers coming from the other side already have this setup and are quite happy to continue using it. IMO I keep using it purely because its not worth transferring money Ive received from it, only to put it back into my google account to pay. Each to their own.

Hello to the other newbies that have joined since this post, good luck with your new venture here on eBid

I just made my first sale on eBid! I knew the buyers would find us eventually. Just a little item, but it's a start.
