what does e-bid do about rogue sellers?

Hi,

I'm fairly new to this site,i use to buy and it's not bad. However i have spotted a few dodgy sellers who were on e-bay or may have been banned selling on here. What does e-bid staff do about scammers?

The reason i ask is that i think is/was was the undoing of e-bay,as they failed to act on these sellers which erodes consumer confidence etc. I'll await any replies.cheers

You can report any auction on here - if you do and your suspicions are well-founded, admin will ban them.

It is not as easy to re-register on here either.

plus 2 or 3 negative feedbacks in a row ( not sure if this is from one buyer, or different buyers) autmatically puts accounts under review.

The reason i asked this is i sent a cheque on Monday for £20 for 7 items. I e-mailed the seller to confirm reciept but have not had reply as of yet. He has i positive as a buyer not seller. I know e-bid has real people here not drones like on dead-bay. I think it will ok.

Mate long time no see lol , i can imagine you are a bit put off by this, i would be , all you can do is contact support see what they have to say, i myself have a couple of sellers that i can't contact , just no reply from them , luckily for me i haven't sent any money to them, mainly because they haven't got any payment buttons on there auctions lol, not any help i know, hope you get it sorted.
