Now that a few people have created youtube videos, perhaps now is a good time to promote a discussion about how they can be used.

I threw one fairly feeble attempt together, and I've put this on my own website. I know that videos for specific items can be added to the listing (though I've no idea what the ID number is you're supposed to use!) What other ways are there of using youtube to promote ebid to Joe Public? It seems a bit unlikely to me that anyone will actually be surfing youtube looking for great ebid promotional videos so presumably they need to be "got out there" somehow.

Any ideas?

I think that is the best one I've seen so far, a couple of the earlier slides are on screen for a little to long, but the pace towards the end is better. Things like that need to be fast paced to keep people watching to the end so perhaps a little tweaking would improve it. I agree we need to find some way of viral promtion of it. Ok start head scratching folks.
