    If yesterday was summer 2008, today is autumn 2008 here. I woke up to thick fog, visibility about 70m. It's largely cleared now though and it's just dull and still quite warm.

    On the bright side - no chance of mowing the lawn or painting the fence = more time to hunt down those bargains on eBid.

    Look on the bright side, it could be worse, we could be in New Orleans. Poor people, it's not like they've fully recovered from Katrina!

    Kimbo is right. We really should count our blessings here in England.

    Mind you with global warming all that could change rapidly.

    What with the floods and we have even had a few minor earthquakes here in essex/suffolk over the last couple of years
