Hi to all the other escapees.....I'm still in the process of moving everything over to here. It's a bit scary starting over but I am really looking forward to getting settled in and enjoying my new 'home'.

I arrived here in May..(when that stupid bidder 1 bidder 2 thing started on the dark side)

Yes, I must stop pontificating and get some more things listed - the more choice we offer, the more customers will find what they're looking for! Even in the last month, I'm finding more of the bits and pieces I want, without having to go elsewhere.

PS - your sig is brilliant kittyblackcat - looks like my cat ... um, except his ears are a bit tattier!

Hi all

New to selling on here,,,from feebay
I have had some lovely help already from people in these forums,,,,so friendly!!
A couple of quick questions if any more experienced ebiders could help with

First,,,,,I have signed up with google checkout as it seems prefered here. Am checking the bank account daily but so far nothing has gone it so I cant activate my account. Do I have to wait for that to happen before I can click the google checkout box on all my listings, I have hundreds now listed and was hoping to spend tomorrow upgrading them all

and secondly,,a technical question,,,,I think I have managed to make a pic to go with my signature ,,,,,I will know when I post this. However its small as I have had to make it from a publisher label template because I dont know how to change a jpeg pixells to get it small enough to upload,,,if that makes sense. Having the same trouble making a banner but have just seen a step by step guide on here so will look at that tomorrow

Any help and tips greatly appreciated and if people would like to look at my personalised cards please do,,,,,I am hoping to be able to sack ebay totally soon and only list on here and bring all my ebay customers with me,,,they are all getting a flyer about ebid and a special offer as an incentive to follow me.

Hello witchbroom and welcome.

I can't remember how I got my pic in as I did it a very long time ago, (memory's going now)
however there are posts telling how to, mine is a gif which I used in emails and over t'other place so it can be done.

As for a banner there is a very nice young lady in the bar area (eeeh the names gone)

Her name is Lisa but her Id ???
someone will come along and say very soon, well she makes banners up.

Hi Peeps, i too am "on the move" from feebay although joined here in Feb. and i,m still trying to find my way around: although not a business seller ,i empathise with those who are/were treated so unfairly(all sellers alike ),especially with their(feebay,s) feedback system and ridiculous fees!!
Looking forward to buying and selling on Ebid and wish everyone the very best of luck for the future ,Slainte' (means good luck& good health).
