Hi Redannette. VERY GLAD to see you because Arkansas is one of my favorite states. Beautiful and friendly and interesting. Welcome to eBid the beautiful, friendly and interesting online auction site. You'll find it's so much more refreshing than others. OK joking, kind of, but the pace is somewhat slower too but very livable.

Yes, I think that we will become much more well known as time goes on. It's just up to us to make it work, but I have a nice feeling about this site, and want to make it work. Now I have a hell of a lot of books to list. Ebay's loss, ebid's gain!

Hello everyone....I joined ebid today because of some problems with ebay,, I have been a dedicated seller on there or 6 years been a powerseller the last 1.5 years and now they are not so nice,,,anyhow have a question, would like to upgrade to sell on here but it seems as though the only way to be able to accept paypal is to pay a 49.95 fee....pppay does not work for US sellers so I am a bit confused as to what to do here,,,can anyone help?

Hi to all the new refugees, welcome to eBid, OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy link to your items whilst reading the forums, read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are, give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums there is a lot of useful information on here.

These threads may help opening a store.

Hello and welcome to eBid. You don't need to upgrade to seller+ in order to accept paypal. At ordinary seller level (which is free but with a 3% FVF) you can still offer paypal. You will just need to send your own invoice at the end of auction as you don't get the eBid integrated invoice at seller level.

    This should help: http://us.ebid.net/help_selling.php#1

If you need any more info just ask, there's always someone willing to help
