Glad I closed my shop 2 weeks ago.
The new listing and FVFs are also a joke.
Be prepared for a large influx of newbie Ebiders, and a steady growth of buyers, as the interesting small sellers are squeezed out of that other place.

It bears repeating to remind everyone that cancelling the £6 sub is not the end of the matter cash wise.

You need to also go into the 'subscriptions' link and cancel your Sales Reports Subscription.

If you don't they start charging for this previously 'hidden extra' as soon as they lose the £6 income stream.

I don't know how much it is on a daily basis but I got stuffed for £3.36 the other day .....not a huge amount ....but enough to spoil your mid day coffee considering you thought you'd handed over your last 1p to the dodgy dealing 'blighters'.

Count me in among the refugees.

I've been selling at eBay under this username for 10 years, but eBay's finally reached the point of ridiculousness. The constant nickel and dime fees were bad enough, but at least it still worked in my advantage when I was selling a high dollar item. But the new mandatory maximum shipping fees - that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Sure, some people charged too much for shipping and needed to be stopped. But the new rates aren't taking into consideration the cost of the packing materials along with the postage, so sellers either have to raise the starting price or send everything by media mail to compensate.

Anyway. Enough about the Other place. I've spent some time looking this site over and I really like what I see. Sensibly listed categories, a FLAT fee for sellers, a minimum of nonsense and clearly accessible and NOT hidden policies... I'll be sticking around for sure.
