Exclamation The new prices on the other side

Take a look, I will not mention the site name but I think you all know where I mean.

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/pricechange08/#fees

    Heres an example

Basic shop on there cost £6.00 at the moment.

It will have a slight increase new price will be £14.99

JUst worked this out with new fees on there

To list a £5 item with buy now will be
    25p listing fee
    40p buy it now fee
    49.9p fvf at 9.9%
    41p paypal fees
In fees total is 155.9p Thats about 31.18% of the total.

This don't include any relisting fees.

So if you pay £2.00 for the item to sell at £5.00 you will only make 145.1p an item.

At them moment, when I list one particular set of my hangers, it costs me £37.00 to list 260 for 10 days.
So to list them for 30 days would costs £111.00.
With the changes, I can pay £49.99 per month (which is what I will be doing), and list 1,000 items at £0.5p each. Those 1,000 items will be on sale for 30 days. Total £99.99.
260 items for a month or pay less and have 1,000 items for month?
I quite happy with the changes.

Dont get me wrong here - I am not defending them.
We are all out to make a living, and am merely pointing out, that it is not as disastrous for those that list aruond 1,000 each month.
