    Question Banner sizes

Hi, I want to create my banner for my eBid stores. I am wondering what the standard sizes are for banners? Anyone who can help, my heartfelt thanks to you.

Thanks Victor for the quick response!
Now we'll see what I can come up with!

I have attached what I created. Now how do I put it into my signature with the buddy link that I was provided?

I tried to upload it into my signature and I got this message: Your file of 23.2 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 19.5 KB for this filetype. What do I need to change? I used the 310x90 dimentions.

Also, do you think that I should just run the loop 1 time, or keep it the way it is in case someone misses the whole message?

    Thanks

If I may interject here... Your file size is too large because you have too much data in your animation, try using just three frames instead of four (the frame with the eBid logo looks the weakest and is not really necessary); I would also suggest that you increase the time between frame changes.
If this is a banner that's solely for use on eBid, your target audience has already found eBid so I'm not quite sure where you're going with this.

Also, do you think that I should just run the loop 1 time, or keep it the way it is in case someone misses the whole message?
Keep it running, people may not see every frame first time around.

Stop it after a loop. Flashing, looping, glaring things drive people nuts. Once is an eye-catcher, constant is a migraine waiting to happen! Make sure the frame it ends on make sense it its own right. Though as you say... not sure where the OP's going with this, as it's for use in ebid forums, and is promoting ebid?

Hi, thanks for your input on this. I am mostly looking to use this on my business website and on other website forums (maybe) as a signature. I thought I could use it as a signature item here as well, but as you say people here already know about it so it is not needed on this site. I did not really like having the ebid logo on there but I thought it might dray more interest. I will play around with it a little more.
    Thanks again.
