Photo uploading problems

With uploading photo's
keep getting this error message

Upload Photo > Error
The file was either too large, or the wrong format. Please upload only GIFs or JPEGs smaller than 4Mb in size..

And my photos are well under the 4MB SIZE and are jpeg, has only ust started happening all of a sudden

I WANT TO LIST AND LIST BUT I CAN'T
