    Default Winner of the YDC

The Winner of YDC 56 is...

    a dilemma

There were 2 auctions this month that broke Rule No 1

    1) The expected value of your item must be 20 pounds or less.

As the YDC is all about a bit of fun I cannot see why this rule cannot be broke, and if the ydc keeps building I expect it will be broke again but that is my opinion, I am sure each and everyone here has there own opinion of this

I have set a pole up for you to vote and please if you have anything you wish to say, use this thread to say it

    Should it go or stay

All other rules shall be abided to

This month we are going to have a king and a queen for the YDC for this month

For the Highest amount raised goes to Raindropsies2

    For the caravan holiday

And the winner Closest to Rule 1 goes to

    Quadilicious

    For his auction

Your choice of logo on your choice of item

I would like to thank everyone who listed or placed bid's in this YDC, .

    Thank you all.

The next YDC listing period (YDC57) will be

    6.00pm Friday 25th July 2008

    through to

    Midnight Sunday 27th July 2008

Thanks again to all sellers and bidder

    And once again well done

i think all items should be worth no more than 99p it would give me a chance of winning then

It's all for charideee, so I've voted to do away with the limit rule. I know not everyone can afford to offer more "expensive" items, but if folk can, all power to them. We have had some fairly low value things in the past that have reached excellent totals (the haaaaaaaaaandbaaaaaaaaaag springs to mind - this was of course deeeeesigner) LOL

Well done to King AND Queen *does a curtsey*

    Congratulations to the winners!
ISeems to me that as long as the opening amount on the YDC auctions is less than £20.00, it's rather fun to have the variety. But also understand that this was started as a bit of fun and meant to be small items and creative gifts. It will be interesting to see how the poll turns out.

How about the person's whose item ends closest to £20 gets to choose next months charity.
That way everyone stands a chance to "win" and not just those who are able to put up higher value items.
We all know that 99p items can fetch silly prices (specially if it's chocklit and Shezz is around).

I haven't voted; basically I am suggesting "adjust" rule 1, rather then keep it or do away with it

    Well done sarah and quad.

    Congratulations to Quad and RD.

Rules are made to be broken. I think rule 1 should stay but a blind eye turned occasionally if a more expensive item is listed.

That could be an alternative idea. Start price 99p or lower.
