    Question Holiday mode?

I know this must have been asked a squillion times before, but I've hunted and can't find the answer (still learning about forum use here! )...

Does ebid have the concept of "holiday mode", where shops and auctions can be marked or taken off line en masse? If so, where can I find out about it?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately not yet - we have been asking though and hopeful that Gazza might oblige!?
At the moment the only option is to add a notice to all you auctions stating you are away.

    Thumbs up

Oh, that's a shame. But thanks for the super-quick answer. I'll have to experiment with the notices. I had been planning a big blitz and get a heap of stuff listed... hmmm, I think I'm still keen to do that.

Do folks find the notices work, and bidders' expectations of delivery and wotnot are realistic? Not that I've had any bidders yet, but I've only been listing a couple of weeks! You have to live in hope, right?

Hi Bykimbo & a huge welcome

As said, you can put a "holiday notice" on all your auctions.

    or

You can close them.....My ebid....auctions i'm running....then use the "all close" tab ( make sure you don't get "all delete" lol or they will be gone forever )

Then, when u come back, use all re-post.....et voila lol

    It's not perfect, but it's a choice

Thanks for the welcome (feel free to call me Kimbo ) and the advice (especially the bit about not deleting everything!!) That sounds like it would work just fine. Holiday mode would be nice though (she says, looking towards TPTB)
