I never go for anything unless I REALLY want it, and have to set myself a price (I'm an OAP so watching the pennies!), so if it's auction-only I will bid, but I get really fed up when I lose!
'Buy it Now' means I'm sure of getting it, and usually days faster too!

I always bid, if it gets to a price I am not willing to pay then I let it go or sometimes go for it at the last minute. bidding on a few things at the moment but there is only one of them I really, really want.

I prefer the excitment of a good auction. I like buy now if I need the item, and it's at a fair price.
